Procedure Guidelines
Our office needs specific information from clinicians when certain tests are
ordered. Please have the following information ready when scheduling the tests listed
below.
Autopsy Request

- Signed permit by next of kin

Fine Needle Aspiration

1 hour. Pathologist will consult with patient after
aspiration |
| Appointments made by clinicians' office only.
Appointment must be made at least 72 hours in advance of requested time of
procedure. Patient to report directly to Lower Columbia
Pathologists

Bone Marrow

- Most recent CBC (copy of report and microslides)
